Barefoot Radler

Barefoot Radler is a refreshing beer infused with a twist of natural lemon and lime, making it the perfect beer to chill out with as the sun goes down over the beach. And because they love those moments so much, the barefoot brewers are supporting Coastcare, to help preserve Australia’s beaches.
In 2009 the Barefoot Radler Coastcare Grant Scheme has awarded $100,000 across twelve Coastcare Groups nationwide for projects that are restoring and protecting their local coastal environments. The Barefoot Radler Coastcare Grant Scheme was established to help volunteer Coastcare groups monitor and respond to the potential devastating effects of climate change on our coasts. The judging panel included former Chief of CSIRO Land and Water, and current member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists, Dr John Williams.

Sponsored by Barefoot Radler beer, Coastcare groups were encouraged to submit a plan on protecting their coastal environment or improving their resilience and capacity to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
